Investigating Parental Acceptance and Understanding, Stress, and Perceived Competence for Parents of Autistic Children

Researchers from Griffith University are looking for parents of autistic children to engage in a short online survey (approximately 20-25 minutes) regarding their experiences in parenting an autistic child. Interested and eligible participants will have the chance to win in a prize draw for one of two $50 Prezzee Smart eGift Cards for dedicating their time to this important research.

Who can participate in this study?

To engage in this study, participants must be:

• over the age of 18
• a parent/guardian/carer of an autistic child (under the age of 18)
• Australian/living in Australia

What are the benefits?

This study aims to learn more about the experiences and wellbeing of parents of autistic children.

The researchers hope to deepen their understanding of parental factors and neuroaffirming support for autistic children.
