Photovoice Study: Digitally enabled lifestyle interventions for neurodivergent young adults

By Curtin University

A Curtin University PhD student is currently recruiting neurodivergent young adults (18-30 years old) with a diagnosis of ADHD or autism working towards a healthy lifestyle and have a passion for taking photos. The researchers are developing a lifestyle-based digital tool to improve mental health in undiagnosed individuals.

What is required?

To engage in this study, participants:

  • Attend 3 x 1 hour group sessions (online or in person with 4-6 participants in each group)
  • Take photos at home to discuss sin the group

What are the benefits?

There is no direct benefit to you, however, you will be contributing to the collection of data on lifestyle interventions that support the mental health of neurodivergent individuals.

We anticipate the results of this research will mean that neurodivergent individuals seeking a diagnosis, or with a diagnosis, have better access to helpful mental health tools which are tailored to the neurodivergent population. You will have access to this intervention once completed.

You will be awarded a $40 gift card to reimburse you for your time.
