Therapy Focus and Everyday Independence joining forces: What this means for you and your clients

By Therapy Focus

An update for Support Coordinators

I wanted to keep you updated as Therapy Focus joins forces with Everyday Independence, a national therapy provider that’s part of the APM Group.

We understand there has been some confusion about what this change means for you and the people you support. We’re working to address this, and we want to make sure you have clear and accurate information.

Why this change is a positive step

We are very proud of the Therapy Focus brand and the work we do with you and the clients you support. By joining with one of Australia’s leading therapy providers, Everyday Independence, we can continue to strengthen our services and support the WA community even better for long term stability.

Here’s what will change for your customers

  • Therapy Focus will use some shared systems with Everyday Independence
  • We’ll operate under the Everyday Independence national NDIS Provider Number
  • Your customers if they consent, will transition to an Everyday Independence Service Agreement and begin receiving Everyday Independence invoices

Here’s what won’t change

  • We’ll continue to be known and operate as Therapy Focus in WA
  • Your customers keep the same therapist and team, at the same hub wherever possible
  • Their goals remain at the centre of their support
  • You can contact the Therapy Focus team or refer customers on the website in the same ways you always have

Here’s what the next couple of weeks look like

  • Our team will continue to use some new tools and systems this may take a short time to get used to, but it’s designed to reduce admin work so therapists can spend more time focused on your clients
  • Service Agreements are being updated now. Some customers have already received theirs, and the rest will follow soon
  • Customers will be issued with Everyday Independence invoices

Thank you for your ongoing support, flexibility and commitment as we move through this change together.

Our shared focus remains on delivering the best possible outcomes for the people and families we support across WA.

Warm regards,

Curtis Reddell
General Manager, Therapy Focus
